Service Description

Package includes the ACTUAL² Advanced Illicit Finance Course (AIFC) and certification as an Advanced Illicit Finance Analyst (AIFA). The Advanced Illicit Finance Course (AIFC) is a follow up to the Basic Illicit Finance Course (BIFC), and provides mid-to senior-level Illicit finance analysts the opportunity to significantly expand their understanding of the illicit finance tools, techniques. They will be able to identify subtle nuances associated with analysis of money laundering and financial fraud. Finally this class outlines the specific roles, parameters, and assistance that can be leveraged from various federal, state, and local government agencies. This advanced-level course is composed of approximately 40% lecture and 60% practical exercise, spanning 5-days. The 23 modules of instruction cover new and emerging threat finance topics and trends. There are three short case studies that effectively blend new information with previously provided information. Upon completion of AIFC, students will be evaluated through a two phased exam. The first phase of examination will be an individual written exam, proctored by ACTUAL² instructors. The second phase of examination will consist of a graded team briefing. A passing score of 70% is required for certification as an Advanced Illicit Finance Analyst (AIFA).
